March, 2022           PowerPoint: Parvin Ministry and Family

Dr.Auley Earl Parvin is a graduate of Houghton College with a Bachelor’s degree; Columbia International University Graduate School of Missions with a Master of Arts degree; Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree; and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Doctorate in Missions. Following graduation, he and his wife served as foreign missionaries in Pakistan with TEAM mission. Upon returning back to the States, he pastored Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for six years. He then was invited to join the faculty of Appalachian Bible College and develop the missions department, serving as a missionary educator in America. He then became the Associate Director of Berean Mission, supervising 14 fields at home and abroad.

During his 21 years as Chairman of the Missions Department of the college, he traveled extensively worldwide, visiting missionaries on their respective fields of service. In North America, study trips were made to numerous Indian Reservations, ethnic communities across the country, and the religious shrines of the world’s non-Christian religions established in America. This research culminated in the compilation of the NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS HANDBOOK, which contained a listing of 600 mission organizations working in North America, and the writing of MISSIONS USA, published by Moody Press. It is the only expose of ministry opportunities here in North America, including the millions of ethnics who have taken up residence here. The book was then rewritten and published under the title, MISSIONS IN NORTH AMERICA, to also include information about the opportunities for evangelism among unreached people groups in Canada and Mexico. The book is regularly updated and is posted on the Web available for downloading at: ep-evangelizing-na.com.

Dr. Parvin was the Executive Director of the Association of North American Missions, an accrediting agency of missions focusing on North America. He was Associate Director until his retirement. He is available to interact with anyone interested, using a series of PowerPoint presentations on Islam entitled, Muslim Awareness Seminars, including one on Daniel’s Image and another on the Book of Revelation and the End Times.
