III NARATIVE

VERSE ONE of ch. 2 ties the second chapter to the first, by repeating the first a/c of the creation of H. & E. were finished, and all the vast array. It is suggesting, with out saying so, that Time [In the beginning], Space [heaven], Matter [earth] & Energy [brooding] is what Elohim, the Father-Architect was doing. In verse THREE He rested from all that He had been doing creating. In ch . 2 the adding of a second name for God, Lord God enhances the importance of man’s appearance.
